Piedmont, CA USA
Width: 9" Length: 11.5"
Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, machine pieced, machine quilted, plastic letters, cotton and monofilament thread, cotton batting, hand sewn cotton binding.
Artist Statement: You young ones won't remember this, but showing skin and pretty legs were considered polite porn at one time. Previous to and during World War II, such leg display was greatly appreciated by men in the service. Sometimes, such pictures were called "cheesecake.” So I bring back the notion that a minimal amount of show can still be appreciated if you get in the right frame of mind.

Dedication: To the men and women we have lost in the military service.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
