Materials/Techniques: Aged Japanese kimono yukata, fused cotton, machine quilted, cotton batting, cotton and monofilament thread, binding hand stitched, collage technique.

Artist Statement: These wonderful birds looked lonely on their Japanese Yukata fabric so I pieced them together looking in opposite directions. The first bird to spot the cure for Alzheimer's can raise their wings and make lots of noise in jubilation. We would all join in the celebration.
