Materials/Techniques: Painted cotton, sparkle paint, silk backing, bead design, beads, jewels, pearl earring with backing, machine quilted and cotton and monofilament threads, hand sewn.

Artist Statement: Fantasy got the best of me on this one, especially when I started painting it. I enjoy the mystery of the underwater society of plants and creatures so this is my attempt to create it through paints and embellishment. Everybody has a day or two like this, even Alzheimer’s patients. It was fun to make.
