Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced collage, machine quilted, monofilament and cotton threads.

Artist Statement: I was struck by the energy of the Samurai attempting survival in the tumultuous waves. I felt it was the perfect image to reflect the many challenges researchers face while trying to find the cure for Alzheimer’s. A long and difficult road, but one we must travel to find the cure.
