Materials/Techniques: A collage of fabrics, appliqué, machine quilted, fusible web, crystal beads, decorator fabric, cotton batting, silk backing and silk binding.

Artist Statement: I really like the line of the neck and beak of this bird. It prompted me to do a collage of different elements to make a donation quilt. A few beads in the flowers help add a bit of color to this very neutral quilt which could be enjoyed in a number of places.

Dedication: This quilted is dedicated to the Alzheimer’s patients whose bizarre behavior tends to alienate them from others.
