Materials/Techniques: Hand painted silk, Japanese fabric, cotton fabric, machine appliqué, machine quilted with hand stitched cotton binding.

Artist Statement: These two Japanese women appear to have a special friendship and reflect a sense of wisdom. I hope that this special wisdom helps us find answers to puzzling questions. It is my hope that they can help unlock the secrets of the disease that challenges so many people throughout the world.
