Artist Statement: When Martha's miniature appeared on the AAQI blog I knew right away I wanted to make one. I had the fabrics selected but had too many other things ahead of it. It was a challenge to use such tiny pieces and it's not as perfect as Martha's, but here it is. AAQI quilts are a joy to make and go for such an important cause.
