Materials/Techniques: Machine-pieced commercial cotton fabrics, machine quilted, with fused elements and hand embroidery, couching and beading.

Artist Statement: A group challenge for something related to September - as a child, since we started school again after Labor Day, we often spent a day at the beach for the holiday weekend. This quilt brings back those memories of many happy hours in the sand and water, searching for treasures.
