Materials/Techniques: Machine quilted using Superior glitter and Sulky threads. Embellished with seashell and starfish findings.

Artist Statement: "Blue, green, gray, white, or black; smooth, ruffled, or mountainous, that ocean is not silent." (H.P. Lovecraft) My mother loved the many, constantly changing faces of the lake where she lived nearly all her adult life, until Alzheimer's changed everything.
