Materials/Techniques: Free motion pebble quilting using Sulky thread, embellished with buttons.

Artist Statement: I grew up in Michigan. My parents loved taking us north to the Upper Peninsula. I will never forget (or will I?!?!?) taking my own sons north and watching them explore the rocky shore of Lake Superior, searching for the perfect stones for their rock tumbler. I still have those polished stones . . .
