8109 – Brain Storm

Materials/Techniques: Cotton shibori hand dyed fabric given to me by a friend for the background and a commercial fabric for the lightning. All pieces are fused and all edges are sewn by machine using decorative stitching with rayon thread. The edges are satin stitched.

Artist Statement: This quilt, Brain Storm, is my own abstract interpretation of how people with Alzheimer's disease may feel, God bless them.

Dedication: To all who help people with Alzheimer's.
