Designer: This was a kit "Easy Attic Window for Big Island Shop Hop 2011," provided by Fabric Impressions in Hilo, HI, used with written permission.

Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, heavily quilted.

Artist Statement: When my husband and I were on a cruise from LA to Hawaii in celebration of our 30th anniversary, we stopped at quilt shops on all four of the islands on our cruise, and I purchased enough fabric to have been given this kit. Since I was already making other Priority Quilts for the AAQI while on the cruise, this was a no-brainer that this quilt would also be donated to AAQI.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to my mom, who passed from Alzheimer's in May 2009 - she always loved Hawaii and sunsets.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
