Materials/Techniques: Cotton batiks, silk flowers, miniature piping, beading, embroidery, and free motion quilting.

Artist Statement: My aunt Marie quilted many a quilt, so it is fitting she is honored by a quilt. Marie had a large family (many children) and Christmas was always a fun, full holiday for the family. I made this a quilt that fit into the Christmas theme but could also easily decorate a wall at any time of the year.

Dedication: Dedicated to my aunt Marie who died of Alzheimer’s in 2000.

This quilt has a Traditional Sleeve.
