Materials/Techniques: Cotton batiks, silk flowers, flange, miniature piping, beads, and free motion quilting.

Artist Statement: This quilt was made to honor my uncle Charles’s parents. His mother loved Christmas poinsettias, so I made the poinsettias for her.

Dedication: Dedicated to Dorothy and Frank Klueppel, who both had Alzheimer’s when they died. My aunt and uncle, Angela and Charles, took care of them both the last few years of their life.

This quilt has a Traditional Sleeve.
