Materials/Techniques: Cotton batiks, wool batting, bonded fabrics, prairie points, miniature piping, embroidery, free motion quilting.

Artist Statement: 3-D forget-me-not flowers seemed a perfect tribute to my grandmother. As a quilter she used prairie points on many of her quilts; she also loved embroidery.

Dedication: In memory of my grandmother, Emeline Menz, who died of Alzheimer’s at age 99 after suffering from the disease for 20 years.

This quilt has a Traditional Sleeve.
