Artist Statement: Our guild challenged the members to make a quilt for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative project as part of our bi-annual challenge project. Since I made two and we were only allowed to "enter" one for our guild challenge, I thought I would send in the "extra" quilt to the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative project directly. It was a meaningful challenge for me because I have a friend whose husband died of complications of Alzheimer's disease in the spring of 2011.

Dedication: Dedicated to the memory of Gray Bryant, who died of Alzheimer's in the spring of 2011. Permission given for the dedication by his wife Patricia.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $137.63 for the AAQI.
