Width: 5.75" Length: 8.5"
Materials/Techniques: Cotton scraps were foundation pieced onto a lightweight spun fabric using 3/4" squares and rectangles to complete the individual blocks. Straight line machine quilting diagonally through the blocks reinforce the barn raising setting.
Artist Statement: The log cabin block makes the most use of the tiny strips of fabric in my stash as this quilt is made of only 3/4" scraps. It challenges me to see what I can make from fabric others throw away.
This quilt has a Traditional Sleeve.
