Materials/Techniques: Kaffe Fassett 100% cotton, Kona fabric 100% cotton, machine pieced and quilted.

Artist Statement: I have always wanted to stay in an underwater hotel. When I was small, I saw a special about a place like this in the Florida Keyes. When I saw this Kaffe Fassett fabric with all the beautiful shells, that memory was triggered. I wanted to make a piece that was slightly distorted, like looking through an old window into the ocean. I wonder if this hotel still exists.
