Width: 8.75" Length: 9.75"
Materials/Techniques: I rotated the photo of the Indian elephant and put it over a background of bright Indian colors. I placed a paintbrush and nail polish on the digitally framed photo. I printed the photo on treated, cotton fabric. I then thread painted using variegated and metallic thread.
Artist Statement: I love this little elephant and its curiosity in the world. My granddaughter loves nail polish and when I saw the elephant's foot I decided to put nail polish on her toes. I normally don't do whimsical but it seemed to fit for this elephant.

Dedication: This quilt is in honor of Lizzie's mum. Having gone through Alzheimer’s with my own mom, my heart hurts for her and all those who love those afflicted.
This quilt has a Hanging Ring.
