Materials/Techniques: A pre-printed cat quote was colored with oil pastels and then bordered with a pink sparkle fiber and a hand-dyed unique from Quilters Stitch Together. Beads and a felt cat embellishments finished the design.

Artist Statement: This was another case of serendipity . . . I had colored the quote fabric in my sister Beth's studio and then spotted a scrap of this hand dye, the pink fiber and Beth showed me how to do the piping.
