Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted, 100% cotton, 80/20 batting, raw edge appliquéd hearts.

Artist Statement: I was having a very rough month. I just could not focus on quilting or anything else. I kept thinking, what do I really need to finish this quilt? A hug! So I added the hearts to the little quilt. They made me smile. Just a little while after I added the hearts, good news came in the form of text!

Dedication: To all the caregivers that just need a little hug now and then to keep them going.
