Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed fabrics used for pinwheels and pieced piping. Commercial wavy stripe fabric used for inside border. Machine pieced and free motion machine quilted.

Artist Statement: I enjoyed the challenge of drafting the pinwheels to fit within the size limitation and designing the wavy border. Martha Thompson's technique for "Tessellating Pinwheels" made it possible to piece the pinwheels with ease and accuracy. I used Susan Cleveland's "Piping Hot Binding" technique for the piped border.
