Materials/Techniques: Hand pieced and appliquéd using the "Invisible Appliqué" technique taught by Ami Simms in her July 2011 workshop in Carbondale. Hand quilted, embroidered and embellished.

Artist Statement: This was begun as an exercise in hand piecing in Ami's "Invisible Applique / Hand Piecing" workshop. When I finished it I decided to applique and embroider flowers on it, turning the Susannah's Patch block into "Susannah's Flower Patch."
