Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced, hand embroidered and machine quilted.

Artist Statement: This quilt was created in response to a guild art quilt challenge. We were asked to find paint sample chips from the hardware store based on our initials and construct a quilt using those colors. I used a copyright free coloring book image for the main design. The title of the quilt comes from the name of the dark purple color but it also reflects my wish for a "magic spell" to find a cure for Alzheimer's.

Dedication: Dedicated to 3 wonderful women: my mom, my mother in law and my best friend's mom. All suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's and all are greatly missed.
