Materials/Techniques: Batik fabrics, quilted with clear thread. The two blocks used have the colors reversed.

Artist Statement: Having decided on the yellow and brown blocks and sewing them together, I found that nothing seemed right for the border. After pulling a lot of fabric I went through a drawer of things I just couldn't find a use for and there was the brown and greenish fabric that had never fit in before, but now it worked.
