Phoenix, AZ USA
Width: 7.5" Length: 9.5"
Materials/Techniques: Lumiere paints by Jacquard, crystals, Crafter's Workshop stencil, India ink both in black and in teal, free motion stitching.
Artist Statement: I continue to use the spiral to symbolize the loss of control that is inherent in the Alzheimer's experience. The ability to maintain control is gone, but the desire is perhaps enhanced, leading to frustration on the part of the individual as well as family and social contacts.
