Artist Statement: This small quiltlet began as a photograph I took at the San Diego Zoo. I loved the color play of the pinks and greens. Funny that I titled it "Houseplant" since it was actually found on the zoo grounds.

Dedication: This is one of many small pieces I have made in honor of my father, who suffered from Alzheimer's for over ten years. His mother had Alzheimer's before him.
