Materials/Techniques: This is doodle art. I used Pitt pens and Prismacolor colored pencils to fashion the design. The crystals help to accentuate the piece. Free motion quilted.

Artist Statement: The design of this quilt got its genesis from the many lollipops and popsicles my father ate. He loved anything cool and soft.

Dedication: This piece represents the many popsicles and lollipops that helped my father pass the days here in Phoenix. He enjoyed sitting on a bench or a swing and feeling the cool, sweet juice of popsicles on his tongue and could handle the "sticks" of lollipops long after I feared he might choke on small candies. He had Alzheimer's for over ten years.
