Materials/Techniques: Felt, cotton fabric and batting. Hand appliqued, embroidered and quilted; embellished with snowflake sequins and a button from Mother's button box.

Artist Statement: Adults often see snow as a hindrance, something to get in the way of our busy schedules, while a child looks at its beauty with wonder and delight.
