Width: 9" Length: 11.75"
Materials/Techniques: Crazy quilt made with scraps of satins, and velvets. Machine pieced with hand embroidery. Details include modern lace as well as heirloom tatting made by my great aunt.
Artist Statement: Crazy quilts always remind me of days at my grandmother's house. I used a lot of color and texture in the quilt because my mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, loves to see the bright colors and to run her hand across the textured embroidery. It brings the past alive for her also!

Dedication: My mother, Gerry Herrell, who lives with Alzheimer's disease.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
