Materials/Techniques: Machine embroidered and pieced cotton fabrics with polyester batting. Embroidery was done with rayon threads and the quilt was free motion machine quilted using cotton threads.

Artist Statement: I made this quilt as a tribute to all the teachers in the world who inspire us to never quit learning.

Dedication: In remembrance of my grandmother, Evelyn, who fought a brave fight with Alzheimer's. May this quilt help, in some small way, to find a cure for this horrible disease.
