Materials/Techniques: The center motif was designed in a session with creative friends. I made and used the stamps cut from Fun Foam. I embellished it with machine stitches, Ultra Suede and beads. It was attached to the bright print with satin stitching. The piping is corded. It is to be hung with fast finish triangles which I altered--I opened the top corners to allow the rod to extend. Sometimes I use a bright wood bead on the ends.
Artist Statement: We don't know how Alzheimer's patients think, but I hope they have some happy colors in their lives.
Dedication: This is dedicated to Rita Rigle and her caretaker husband, John. She can no longer play the piano, which she did to the enjoyment of many.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
