Designer: The designer is Anita Bradshaw. Her web site is "Another by Anita.com" I got the pattern from her web site and I have written permission to use her designs because I intend to use several of her designs to make more quilts for the AAQI.

Materials/Techniques: I used 100% cotton fabrics. The technique is raw edge appliqué. It is quilted using the echo design and is quilted with silk thread.

Artist Statement: This is the first of many quilts that I will make for the AAQI. It is now my pet project and my goal is to make 6 to 8 quilts or more per year for this very worthy cause. My husband is in the early stages of this devastating disease. I am unable to donate money but I certainly can donate my quilt making talents. Hopefully my small contributions will help toward finding a cure for this disease. Hurray for Ami Simms and her dedication to this project!
