Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, ribbon, variegated threads, machine appliquéd and pieced.

Artist Statement: Running for fun as a child (not doing it for exercise) is a favorite memory! The Flying Geese Quilt Guild sponsored the Alzheimer’s quilts at our quilt show in 2008 and we joined forces to make some donation quilts. I was in charge of gathering them, and they were put in a pile in my sewing room and disappeared for 3 years...These are nearly vintage quilts, now. My apologies to all the quilters who worked so hard to make meaningful contributions for this great cause.
