7637 – Just for Grandma

Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric and batting, I drew and colored the flower with fabric markers and then heat set it.

Artist Statement: It was a project that my grandma and I did to remember her mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s'. I never knew her but know she was loved by all her children very much. My sister and I want to make more little quilts in her honor. We had lot of fun. I am nine years old.

This quilt has a Hanging Ring.

This quilt earned $40 for the AAQI.
