Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric , an orphan quilt block, 80/20 batting, cotton thread, fusible, Perma Pen.

Artist Statement: This month I challenged myself to use an orphan quilt block that has been on my ironing board for 3 months. I wanted to create a story or scene with it. But what? While looking out my sewing room window, I kept thinking about the rotten caterpillars that ate all my pepper plants last year. And so a theme was born!

Dedication: To the many people that have lost little pieces of themselves through Alzheimer's, may we find a cure.
