Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics (one hand dyed), ribbon, button, rubber-stamping, photo transfer, fusing.

Artist Statement: Rachel Fields was a Baptist and a piano teacher. She was also my grandmother. Sweet and conservative when I knew her but that all changed when I discovered a box of photographs of her after her death. She is the second from the left in the photograph.
