Materials/Techniques: Paper fabric, cotton, acrylic glue, sequins, dyed lace, flowers, pearl heart, water color pencils, machine stitching and mounted on mat board.
Artist Statement: My life, like so many others, has been touched with the heartbreak we have come to associate with Alzheimer's Disease. I chose the theme "the song has ended, but the memory lingers on," because short term memory fades, and longtime memories linger, causing heartache to the surviving family.
