Designer: Quilt designed by quilt maker using embroidery designs from "A Helpful Elf Design Pack" large and small by Embroidery Library.
Materials/Techniques: Machine embroidery using rayon threads on cotton fabrics with rick-rack embellishment, machine sewn and quilted with cotton and invisible threads and polyester batting.
Artist Statement: I made the quilt to incorporate all the elements of the June 2011 Quilt a Month Club challenges - Winter holiday theme, plaid fabric, and rick-rack - and because it's my way to help fight this awful disease.

Dedication: To my friend whose 57 year old husband was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Let us hope there will be a cure soon.
