Artist Statement: When I was thinking of what to do for this month, I thought of a simple banner with 2011 in trapunto across the banner. This would be a great celebration quilt for a birth, wedding, retirement or any other special event that occurs this year. And wouldn't it be a banner year if we could celebrate a cause, a cure, and a prevention for this horrible disease?
