Materials/Techniques: This is a leftover block from a sampler quilt--machine pieced and quilted.

Artist Statement: It seemed fitting to make a 'fading star' as I watch my Mom fade away from Alzheimer’s.

Dedication: To my Mom and my aunt, her older sister. Both are fading stars.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
