Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, paper pieced, machine quilted, hand-sewn glass beads.

Artist Statement: The single parasol represents the lonely feeling I had when my mama no longer remembered that I was her daughter. It is dedicated to the wonderful Mother she was for many, many years.

Dedication: This quilt is in memory of my mama who passed away on Valentine's Day, 2011, as a result of Alzheimer's Disease.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $50 for the AAQI.
