Materials/Techniques: Plaid fabric with a poinsettia on a shiny green background bordered with black and gold rickrack.

Artist Statement: Several years ago I made and sent small greeting cards to friends. Evidently this flower was prepared to use one of them. When it turned up in the box of holiday fabric, along with the plaid taffeta it inspired this simple little quilt.
