Artist Statement: Another small quilt in a series featuring dragonflies. I love the nature of this insect. Strong, yet fragile and living a relatively short time, colorful, but gone in a flash of wings. I support the efforts of this organization. Making small quilts is my contribution to help raise funds for research as well as awareness of the terrible toll that Alzheimer's can take on individuals, care givers and families. I am amazed what the quilting community has accomplished on behalf of AAQI!
