Materials/Techniques: Cotton and silk dupioni fabrics, hand appliqued, fused, Tsukineko inks, machine quilted, signed, beads, enveloped on three sides, top is traditionally bound.

Artist Statement: A hanging basket of fuchsia attracts hummingbirds which gives pleasure to the viewer.

Dedication: In honor of Lauren Kessler whose informative book about Alzheimer's disease, "Dancing with Rose", shed new light on the disease.
