Materials/Techniques: Pieced cotton fabrics. These little triangles form windmill blades of the old sort, not the modern single-arm type. I like the way this quilt challenges the eye, as the windmill blades shift from row to row and then suddenly turn into bow-tie or hourglass shapes instead.

Artist Statement: I am fulfilling a "$1000 Promise," and I took this opportunity to work with tiny triangles.
