Materials/Techniques: Small squares of cotton and cotton blend fabrics pieced to form red, white, and blue stripes. Hand quilted. Hand-embroidered with a star in each square. It took a long time to get them right, but I ended up really liking the casual swagger of these stars!

Artist Statement: I am fulfilling a "$1000 Promise".
