Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, light machine quilting, 4 buttons.

Artist Statement: I like the pinwheel pattern. It is a kind of optical illusion, since sometimes the pinwheels are in one square, and other times they are on the line above or below. The pinwheel squares go up and down, but sometimes the squares diagonally and look like hourglasses or box kites! I called it "Pinwheeeeeels" and bordered it with bright colors because it seems to me to be a cheerful quilt.
