Materials/Techniques: This is a Cathedral Window Quilt. In the windows are pictures "fussy-cut" from cotton fabric. They are Christmas and winter pictures, decorated with ribbons and faux pearls.

Artist Statement: I had always wanted to make a Cathedral Windows quilt. I like the little windows and the "flower" design created by the window frames. It was time-consuming work, and as I worked I thought about Alzheimer's victims -- the sufferers and their families, friends, and caretakers.
