Width: 11.25" Length: 8.5"
Materials/Techniques: Appliqued cotton -- gingham for the dog and calico for the cat, of course, on a starry cotton background. Embroidered features, button eyes and machine quilting. In the poem, the dog and cat fight each other, but in my version they are friends. (As often happens in real life.) Here, they are so happy to be outside at night that they leap for joy.
Artist Statement: I am fulfilling a "$1000 Promise" and making quilts of many different kinds. I am happy that Ami has provided this opportunity to fund medical breakthroughs to overcome this terrible disease.

Dedication: Dedicated to friends who can jump for joy.
This quilt has a Hanging Ring.
